Néarr's fitted sheets are made and produced in Egypt, a country renowned worldwide for its exceptional cotton quality. Our fitted sheets are crafted from 100% Egyptian cotton, one of the most luxurious cotton varieties in the world. Choosing a high-quality Egyptian cotton fitted sheet means choosing comfort, durability, and refinement.
Egyptian cotton distinguishes itself by its extra-long and strong fibers. These long fibers not only make the fabric softer but also more durable than regular cotton. A 100% Egyptian cotton fitted sheet is therefore less prone to wear and tear and remains beautiful for years. The smooth fiber structure ensures a silky-soft touch, allowing you to experience the feeling of luxurious hotel quality every night. Ideal for those looking for luxurious and durable bedding made from Egyptian cotton.
Our fitted sheets are designed for optimal sleeping comfort in every season. Thanks to the natural properties of Egyptian cotton, they are breathable and moisture-absorbing. This means that heat and moisture are effectively regulated. A breathable Egyptian cotton fitted sheet for warm sleepers helps prevent overheating during the night and contributes to a fresh and dry sleeping environment. In winter, the material feels pleasant and comfortable. This way, you enjoy a balanced night's sleep all year round.
In addition to comfort and luxury, ease of use is also important. Our durable Egyptian cotton fitted sheets are easy to maintain. They can simply be machine washed and retain their softness and color, even after frequent washing. Due to their moisture-regulating properties, the bedding dries quickly. This makes a low-maintenance Egyptian cotton fitted sheet a premium and practical choice for daily use.
At Néarr Bedding, we believe in fair and small-scale production. Our fitted sheets are carefully made in Egypt, with attention to quality and craftsmanship. No mass production, but a conscious process using the best materials. This makes our collection perfect for those who value fairly produced Egyptian cotton bedding.
Complete your bedroom by combining our fitted sheets with a 100% Egyptian cotton duvet cover and matching Egyptian cotton pillowcases. This way, you create a harmonious whole and experience the comfort of premium bedding every night.
Experience the difference of real Egyptian cotton for yourself and transform your sleep routine into a daily moment of rest and luxury.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Egyptian cotton grows along the banks of the Nile, where the unique climate and soil provide a perfect home for the cotton plant. During the day, the plant is warmed, at night it cools down, and the fertile soil nourishes every fiber. This special interplay of nature allows the fibers to mature slowly and completely. As a result, the fibers are extra long and can be spun more finely, which creates a softer and stronger thread.
Because the fibers are longer and finer, the fabric feels very soft. The suppleness of the fabric comes naturally from the fiber structure. Longer fibers break less easily, which means Egyptian cotton lasts longer than ordinary cotton. They retain their shape, pill less to hardly at all, and wear out less quickly.
Egyptian cotton breathes excellently, retains moisture without feeling wet, and regulates your body temperature. This is due to the natural properties of the cotton fiber itself, combined with the density of the fine spin.
TC, or Thread Count, refers to the thread density of a fabric. It indicates how many threads are woven per square inch, both horizontally and vertically. The higher the thread count, the finer, denser, and smoother the fabric feels. A higher Thread Count not only means more threads but also that high-quality fibers are used, such as the extra-long fibers of Egyptian cotton.
For standard cotton bedding, the thread count is often between 120TC and 180TC. Good quality cotton starts at 200TC. With our 400TC Egyptian cotton bedding, you are in the premium segment where the fabric feels extra soft and supple, has a luxurious appearance, is strong and durable, and hardly, if at all, pills due to the fine and dense weave.
Egyptian cotton comes from a high-quality cotton variety grown in the warm, fertile climate of the Nile Valley. This cotton plant produces extra-long, strong, and smooth fibers. Thanks to these longer fibers, Egyptian cotton is softer, more luxurious, and more durable than regular cotton.
Regular cotton has shorter and less smooth fibers, making the fabric less strong and supple. Over time, regular cotton becomes rougher, wears out faster, and pills more easily.
Our 100% Egyptian cotton bedding from Néarr Bedding is woven with a finer and denser structure, ensuring extra comfort, a soft surface, and minimal pilling. This dense weaving method is indicated by TC (Thread Count), which specifies the number of threads per square inch.
For comparison: standard cotton bedding usually has a thread count of 120TC to 180TC. Néarr Bedding's bedding has a high-quality 400TC, which results in a visibly and tangibly more luxurious quality.
Thanks to the combination of extra-long fibers, a high thread count, luxurious softness, and durability, Egyptian cotton is the perfect choice for premium and comfortable bedding that you will enjoy for longer.
When we say 100% Egyptian, we really mean it. From cotton plant to your duvet cover, fitted sheet, or pillowcase: everything is manufactured in our own small workshop in Egypt. No mass production, no long chains with intermediaries, and no compromises on quality. Only premium bedding, directly from the source to your bedroom.
Our workshop employs only women. In many Egyptian families, the family income is traditionally earned by men, which is why we are especially proud to offer these skilled women their own income.
Every step of the production process is carried out by hand, precisely and with care. Because the entire production takes place in Egypt and we have a short supply chain, we can offer a fair price for both the artisans in Egypt and the customer.
Wash the bedding at 30°C before first use. Afterwards, you can safely wash it at up to 40°C. Use a mild liquid detergent and avoid fabric softener to preserve the natural softness and moisture-regulating properties of Egyptian cotton.
Ideally, wash the bedding separately from heavy items and do not overload the washing machine. This will keep the fabric smooth and prevent wear and tear.
Preferably, air dry the bedding. Thanks to the excellent moisture regulation of Egyptian cotton, it dries quickly. If you do use a tumble dryer, always choose the lowest setting. Ironing should also be done at the lowest temperature.
Wash the bedding inside out, with the zipper as closed as possible. Avoid direct strong sunlight during drying to prevent discolouration.
