Our workshop primarily employs women. In the local culture, this is not a given; usually, it is the men who work outside the home. That is precisely why we are proud to offer these women an independent income, providing them with self-reliance and security.

We visit Egypt regularly to see family and always stop by the workshop. Not from a distance, but truly involved. Checking in, catching up, feeling how things are going. We value that personal contact, and it keeps the work honest and close.

Because we produce everything ourselves, we work without unnecessary intermediate steps. This keeps things clear and personal, and ensures we can remain true to our way of working.
